The management of creative materials towards the development of
jewelry designs from low-grade and scrap gemstones in Kanchanaburi

This project is a hands-on training initiative led by Asst. Prof. Worachai Roubroumlert and the faculty members of the Jewelry Design Department at the Faculty of Gems. Its primary objective is to convey knowledge among government agencies, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and related personnel in Kanchanaburi Province.

The project aims to promote innovative thinking in creative materials management, particularly in dealing with low-grade and scrap gemstones. It seeks to transfer this knowledge to participating business operators, enabling them to enhance the value of low-grade and scrap gemstones through creative design approaches for each type of product. Additionally, the project aims to expand business opportunities for individual operators in driving the jewelry and accessory industry within Kanchanaburi Province. Consequently, this will create employment opportunities for skilled craftsmen within the province and foster a creative learning society.
