Committee and Working Group for Driving the Development of
the Bio-economy, Circular Economy, and Green Economy in Agriculture.
The Ministry has a significant policy for the holistic development of the country’s economy, comprising three dimensions: the development of the bio-economy, circular economy, and green economy. The objectives are to drive economic development efficiently, promote sustainable practices across all relevant sectors, and achieve equitable and effective outcomes.
In the meeting of the Provincial Agriculture Committee in Chonburi province, which took place on September 21, 2022, a resolution was passed to appoint a committee and a working group to drive the development of the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG Model) for the province’s agricultural sector, Chonburi.
Burapha University is part of the governing body for the BCG Model in agricultural development in Chonburi, along with 18 other organizations. It is tasked with serving as a committee and a working group to drive and implement strategies and policies for the development of the bio-economy, circular economy, and green economy in the agricultural sector of Chonburi.
