On 15 June 2023, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) organized and hosted a meeting about sustainable MICE destinations. The aim of the meeting was to share knowledge about 11 MICE Academic Clusters in order to foster the sustainability of MICE cities included in the Global Destination Sustainable Index. During 2023, TCEB gave BUUIC the honorable opportunity to be the researchers who collect data for the Global Destination Sustainable Index in Bangkok. BUUIC hopes to be the center to drive sustainability in MICE industry in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
