Burapha Film Festival
(Faculty of Music and Performing Arts)
Continuing from the teaching and learning activities of the Media Production and Creative Culture Management program, the emphasis is on enabling students to see, explore, and engage in real-world practices in media production management and creative culture. This is geared towards preparing students for the future, where they can integrate theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiences in creative media production management. The program encompasses various formats under the umbrella of learning values and contemporary creative culture to advance into the business and creative industries of the future.
The film industry is another cultural sector that garnered widespread interest and continuous development to align with global standards. Moreover, it is a practical learning resource for the Media Production and Creative Culture Management program. The Bachelor of Arts program in Media Production and Creative Culture Management has designed two courses, namely, “77230364 Exhibition and Conference Production Management” and “77130164 Writing and Creativity for Business Communication.
A project called the ‘Burapha Film Festival’ has been organized as part of the teaching strategy. This initiative aims to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in organizing festivals and conferences. Through formal training and hands-on work in this project, students can enhance their skills and learn how to manage such events independently.
Furthermore, the festival aims to connect with the creative community interested in cultural communication through film media. It encourages the exchange of ideas, learning, and the spark of creativity in producing film-related works within the Burapha University community, as well as the communities of Bangsaen and Chonburi Province. The ultimate goal is to foster knowledge sharing, cultural exchange, appreciation for the arts, and creating stronger artistic works within the community.
