Despite an increased focus on sustainability, it is undeniable that cosmetic and beauty products share quite a large percentage of the waste globally. To do the least we can, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) opened donations for expired cosmetics from 23 November until 6 December 2023, and the donation was very successful. Many BUUIC faculty members, supporting staff, and students donated expired cosmetics altogether, more than 8 kilograms. BUUIC mailed all donated cosmetics to the Krajok Ngao Foundation and the Baan Nokkamin Foundation. They will be reused for mortuary makeup. Moreover, the students designed and created the donation boxes from recycled cardboard boxes. It is a pleasure that BUUIC can help support the foundations in their mortuary makeup activities and the students’ sustainable consumption learning.
