Business English for Work and Careers Program
Faculty members of the Gem and Jewelry Business department joined forces to orchestrate the Business English for Work and Careers Program, scheduled for Thursday, February 29th, 2024. Hosted in the L-513 classroom at Burapha University’s Chanthaburi Campus, this initiative highlights the indispensable role of English language proficiency in various facets of daily life, encompassing communication, scholarship applications, international studies, employment, and meeting global market demands. Recognizing the imperative of English proficiency in the 21st century, the faculty members overseeing the Jewelry and Gem Business curriculum at Burapha University, Chanthaburi Campus, are steadfast in their commitment to fostering, cultivating, and bolstering students’ English language skills. This endeavor aims to equip students with the linguistic acumen necessary to navigate professional environments effectively and to excel in diverse communication scenarios. Throughout this training session, Sayomphoo Hanpakdeesakul, a lecturer in the Gem and Jewelry Business Department within the Faculty of Gems, will guide students in their second, third, and fourth years of the Gem and Jewelry Business program. This program is in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, emphasizing the promotion of high-quality education and fostering lifelong learning.
