Singha Volunteers for Area Development

            The Student Affairs Division of the Faculty of Political Science and Law organized the “Singha Volunteer” Project for Area Development for the academic year 2024. The event took place from August 14th to 17th, 2024, at Bangsaen Beach (near San Chao Pho Saen Shrine) and at Saen Suk Wisutti Wararam Temple, located in Saen Suk Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province.

The objectives of this project were to instil the spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and unity among students of the Faculty of Political Science and Law, as well as to raise awareness about environmental issues. The project aimed to encourage student participation in environmental development efforts, consequently promoting sustainability. 

            On August 14th, 2024, at Bangsaen Beach (near San Chao Pho Saen Shrine), Assistant Professor Pol. Lt. Col. Dr. Vichien Tansirikongkhon, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Law, officially inaugurated the “Singha Volunteer” Project for Area Development for the academic year 2024. During the event, leaders from the Local Environmental Conservation Volunteers (LENV) of the Saen Suk Temple Community provided a lecture on environmental issues, particularly coastal waste problems at Bangsaen Beach. They also joined students in a beach cleanup activity.

            The project featured various volunteer activities, including “Mission Team” tasks and a “Sea Animal Trash Sculpture” contest, which fostered teamwork and collaboration. These activities contributed to the sustainable development and emphasized the importance of participation from all community sectors with more than 400 participants joining the activity.
