The primary target groups for this program were the elderly in Saensuk Municipality and the village health volunteers (VHV).

The cybercrime prevention training project for the elderly, organized by the Local Administration Program students from the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Political Science and Law, Burapha University, in collaboration with other agencies, relates to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as follows:

SDG 4: Quality Education

This project focuses on providing knowledge about cybercrime to the elderly, promoting lifelong learning and developing digital literacy skills, enabling the elderly to protect themselves from cybercrimes.

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

By offering training to the elderly and village health volunteers, the project helps reduce inequalities in access to knowledge and cybercrime prevention. This ensures that the elderly, who might have limited access to technology-related information, can gain knowledge and protect themselves.

SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

The project raises awareness about cybercrime, contributing to the reduction of crime and violence in society, and fostering a safer and more peaceful community.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

The collaboration with the Technology Crime Suppression Division and local agencies demonstrates an example of partnership between the university, governmental agencies, and the community, strengthening cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals.

This project aligns with multiple SDGs, particularly in promoting learning and raising awareness within the community for quality and sustainable development.
