9th Annual Conference of the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand)
On February 18, 2025, the Faculty of Public Health, Burapha University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kowit Suwannahong, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health; Dr. Taddao Pahasupanan, Assistant Dean for Student Development and Special Affairs; and Dr. Teeranun Nakyai, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Innovation, along with students from the Environmental Health program, participated in the National Student Sustainability Project Competition 2024.
The competition was held in conjunction with the 9th Annual Conference of the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand), under the theme “Achieving Carbon Neutrality through the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy.”
The event took place at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under Royal Patronage in Pathum Thani Province. At this event, the project entitled “Low-Carbon Management Model in the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, Ban Saphan Hin, Thap Ma Subdistrict, Rayong Province,” developed by Ms. Thanannan Witchayakun, Ms. Thanatchaphak Charoenjanyakul, and Ms. Paweena Ananta, received an Honorable Mention Award for its innovative contribution to sustainable development.
The Faculty of Public Health, Burapha University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the students for their achievement and for bringing recognition to the university through their dedication and innovation in environmental health and sustainability.
And we hope that there will be further utilization of the work submitted in this competition, for true sustainability.
