The primary objectives of the seminar were to educate entrepreneurs and attendees of the International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewellery Festival 2024 on jewellery design principles and their application, particularly emphasising the integration of Chanthaburi’s unique cultural identity into their creative processes. This aimed to foster the advancement of jewelry design by highlighting the significance of local culture, heritage, craftsmanship, and wisdom, ultimately inspiring innovative and culturally relevant creations that could enhance product value, expand business opportunities through culturally relevant product lines, and leverage concepts like Soft Power and cultural tourism for both domestic and international markets. Furthermore, the seminar sought to disseminate research-based knowledge to the local community, building confidence and providing a reliable foundation for incorporating cultural identity in jewellery design.

The lecture encompassed crucial aspects such as jewellery design principles, applying jewellery design to diverse product formats, and, significantly, disseminating research-based knowledge to the local community of Chanthaburi Province. The primary objective was to foster the advancement of jewellery design by emphasising the integration of Chanthaburi’s unique cultural identity into the creative process. Furthermore, the seminar elucidated pertinent concepts including Cultural & Heritage, Soft Power, cultural product tourism, the significance of inheriting craftsmanship and local wisdom, and the reinforcement of the value inherent in local cultural identity. The event occurred on December 9, 2025, at The Chanthaburi Gem and Jewellery Centre in Chanthaburi Province, as an integral part of the International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewellery Festival 2024.

The lecture also underscored the significance of Cultural & Heritage, Soft Power, and cultural tourism as concepts applicable to product development and marketing strategies domestically and internationally. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of the potential of cultural identity to generate added economic and social value, as well as the crucial role of local wisdom inheritors in preserving and advancing this body of knowledge.
