BUUIC Visits the Bang Pu Education Center

On Saturday 29 October, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperative Education, Mr. Vorrapob Vivatvanit, and 37 students from the BUUIC Club visited the Bang Pu Education Center. The group learned about the mangrove eco-system and its importance on life – both life on land and life below the water. Moreover, all participants enjoyed planting young plant seedlings at the coastline where the forest meets the Bang Pu river estuary. The participants also enjoyed bird watching and feeding the winter migranting Siberian gulls. This activity is one of the BUUIC Club’s CSR activities for SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).  It is also part of BUUIC’s implementation of being a green university. BUUIC hopes the mangrove eco-system will be fruitfully spreaded.
