On Monday 24 October 2022, BUUIC delegates were invited by Appalachian State University (ASU) to be guest speakers and to give a presentation on ‘Sustainable Development Growth in Thailand’s Tourism’. The presentation was given to ASU students taking a course called Sustainable

The presentation mainly focused on tourism situations in Thailand and how Thailand engages Tourism for SDGs. The presentation included plenty of examples that showed how BUUIC has supported local communities in eastern Thailand by helping them understand the importance of SDGs. Support also included showing people how to turn local foods and materials into unique products
