The Gathering of Hundreds of Bang Saen People; Health Enthusiasts

at The Tide Resort Hotel

According to the municipal of Saensuk’s initiative, the ‘Bangsaen Health Festival 2024’ was held on January 18-19, 2024, at The Tide Resort Hotel.
The goal of this event is to raise awareness about health preservation, promote and support health literacy among people of all ages, encourage participation in activities to modify health behaviours and address factors affecting health to achieve overall well-being. This will be accomplished through a variety of suitable processes and methods tailored to each individual.
In this event, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which is a scientific health faculty, besides its current expertise in pharmaceuticals, also focuses on and promotes herbal medicine and cosmetics. Therefore, exhibitions on herbal medicine production and skin health check-ups have been provided to the public in such activities.

The herbal medicine exhibition aims to provide knowledge about the properties of various herbs used as ingredients, methods of preparation, and various recommendations and encourage participants to make herbal medicines themselves. This will enable participants to apply the knowledge gained and prepare simple herbal medicines at home. In addition to receiving self-prepared herbal medicines, participants will also receive essential oils prepared by the faculty for use in massages to relieve fatigue, insect bites, and stings.

In terms of dermatological health inspection

The faculty has arranged for a service to examine the moisture level of the participants’ skin in order to assess whether the skin is dry or not and to determine appropriate skin care. Dry skin issues not only affect beauty but also lead to premature wrinkles and make the skin more susceptible to irritation.
