Early Childhood Project to Improve the Community at Bannamsai School
The Early Childhood Education program at Burapha University’s Faculty of Education is dedicated to instilling ethical principles in students. As part of this commitment, our students undertake the “Early Childhood Project to Improve the Community”, where they apply their knowledge to community. In 2024, our students have chosen Bannamsai School in Rayong Province as the location for their project. It has come to our attention that the kindergarten bathrooms at Bannamsai School are in dire need of renovation. With broken doors, leaking roofs, rusty water supply, and unhygienic conditions, these facilities are not suitable for young children. Therefore, our students have initiated the “Early Childhood Project to Improve the Community at Bannamsai School” to enhance the hygiene and convenience of the bathrooms for young children. This project is not only about renovating bathrooms; it is also about promoting proper hygiene education for children and ensuring that they have access to clean and suitable bathroom facilities. The estimated cost of renovating the four bathrooms is 57,000 THB. That was raised from various agencies and the project completion as well as delivery are scheduled for May 2024. At the Faculty of Education, we are committed to fostering the holistic development of our students, particularly in the area of education. This project will make a tangible difference in the lives of young children and contribute to their overall well-being.
This project is aimed at creating sustainability in accordance with the SDGs, specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The Faculty of Education remains committed to supporting students and staff in participating in the development of all sectors, particularly in the educational context, to ensure continued sustainability.
