Trends towards Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing
On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM, on the 7th floor of the Faculty of Informatics Building, the Digital Media and Interaction (DMI) Laboratory and the BUU ETAT Training Center hosted a lecture and workshop by Prof. Dr. Ing. Erwin Rauch. Prof. Rauch, an expert in sustainable and environmentally friendly production systems for small and medium-sized industries, is from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. The topic of the lecture and workshop was “Trends towards Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing.” The event provided insights into Industry 5.0 technologies and included a workshop for participants. The purpose of this activity was to offer guidance to faculty members and students of the Faculty of Informatics, enabling them to apply the knowledge gained to teaching and research. Additionally, there were discussions on potential collaborations and the strengthening of relationships between Burapha University and Universities in the Asia and Europe regions for sustainable research and development in the future.
