Education forward: Past, Present and future of the classroom
The Faculty of Education at Burapha University has established collaborations with several institutions, including the Teachers’ Council of Thailand, the Faculty of Education at Nakhon Phanom University, the Faculty of Education at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, and the Faculty of Education at Thaksin University to lunch the EDU SHARE project, which started in 2022 and takes place twice a year, in April and October. The purpose is to build an educational network that fosters knowledge exchange and supports academic services, including education for sustainable development. The program is conducted online via the Zoom Cloud Meeting platform. In October 2024, the Faculty of Education will host a program titled “Education Forward: The Past, Present, and Future of Classrooms.” Scheduled for October 29 – 30, 2024. It aims to provide participants with opportunities for personal development and to apply the knowledge they acquire in their work, thereby contributing to the advancement of education for sustainable development goals.
The purposes of this program were;
1. To provide new knowledge and skills to educators during the semester break. 2. Create equal and inclusive educational opportunities.
3. Support lifelong learning for educators.
In this event, EDU is the host to provide the program and find a new collaboration between the Teachers’ Council of Thailand and three cohost universities, namely the Faculty of Education, Thaksin University Songkhla, Faculty of Education, Nakhon Phanom University, and the Faculty of Education, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. There are supported faculty members who become free speakers. A total of 3,184 attendants consisted of four occupations; There were 2,482 Teachers (77.93%) had the highest percentage, followed by 550 educators (17.27%), including 117 students (3.67%) and 20 private businesses (0.63%) respectively.
1. This event provide new knowledge and skills to educators during the semester break, create equal and inclusive educational opportunities, and support lifelong learning for educators.
2. Burapha University has a strengthen academic image and show social responsibility.
3. Faculty of Education, Burapha University promote the faculty’s curriculums and find new collaborations in academic activities.
4. Faculty of Education, Burapha University exchange knowledge among universities and support academic services.
