Smile Express Sa-Sook: Promoting Dental Health
Because “Health” Matters: Faculty of Public Health, Burapha University, in Collaboration with TQC,
Promotes Dental Care through “Smile Express Sa’Sook: Promoting Dental Health”
On February 28, 2025, the Faculty of Public Health at Burapha University, in collaboration with TQC Company Limited (TQC), officially launched the “Smile Express Sa’Sook: Promoting Dental Health” project. Developed under the concept of “Quality of Working Life and Happiness,”
The initiative aims to enhance the overall well-being and quality of working life for faculty members, staff, and students—anchored in the belief that “health” is a fundamental priority.
This belief underscores the importance of occupational health and safety as key economic factors contributing to both organizational and societal stability. By promoting dental health as a core component of well-being, the project aligns with the faculty’s vision of being a “Public Health Wisdom Repository, Building Partnerships, Advancing Toward Sustainability.”
The initiative also reflects the organizational culture known as “HOME,” where H – HAPPY represents a “Happy Organization,” and supports performance excellence in Category 5: Workforce under the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx).
As part of this endeavor, dental services were provided via a certified mobile dental clinic—accredited by the Ministry of Public Health and compliant with clinic-level standards, including the SHA (Safety and Health Administration) certification. The services offered included oral examinations, consultations, scaling, fillings, and tooth extractions, benefiting faculty members, staff, and students alike.
Ultimately, the Faculty of Public Health recognizes that when personnel and students enjoy good health and well-being, it directly contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), spanning economic, social, environmental, and participatory dimensions.
