Burapha University has appointed a committee to manage the tobacco-free university initiative since the year 2015. This committee is responsible for developing guidelines and implementing the operational mechanisms for the tobacco-free university. On October 6, 2015, the university established a policy regarding the prevention of non-smokers and the treatment of smokers. The aim is to ensure that all university departments are informed and comply with various operational plans, such as<\/span><\/p>

  1. 1. Organizing training to provide knowledge and understanding about the law and the Non-Smokers’ Health Protection Act, B.E. 2535.<\/span><\/li>
  2. 2. The hospital of Burapha University provides a facility for the rehabilitation and treatment of smokers with medical staff available to provide counseling and guidance.<\/span><\/li>
  3. 3. Every department is prohibited from selling tobacco products in their respective areas of responsibility.<\/span><\/li>
  4. 4. Every department is responsible for organizing campaigns to reduce and quit smoking.<\/span><\/li>
  5. 5. There are teams in each department responsible for monitoring and tracking progress to lead towards future improvements.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In the year 2565, The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) had a policy to support the promotion of smoke-free educational institutions, in accordance with the Tobacco Products Control Act of 2017.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
